As with the first version of untamed, I am writing this as a darker more sinister version of a column that I write for my college paper. The Washburn Review. The premise? Setting very high goals.
Though long winded, my original article was fine. It could have been shorter for certain.
As it stands, I believe that setting very high and nearly unobtainable goals is the correct way to goal set. My reasoning is simple, it forces the person trying to obtain them to reach.
The reach may tear the muscle fibers in your arm (if we are to go with the metaphor) but they will come back stronger. Everyday you'll have to come back and try again.
In this way, I think that the feeling of failing ones goals and wanting to see them to their conclusion is what pushes drive. I guess though what do I know, I've only been posting a blog post every single day for more than a year despite the fact that people told me not to do it.
Fuel drive with failure. My motto. That and no rules, only suggestions.
