Computer: A Poem

Rectangle of circuitry
Little metal city
Moving electricity
From one side to the next
Like a group of explorers
A collection connection
Not much unlike humanity
Run by bits of electricity
Metal bones
Inside a metal phone
Calling shouts
Controlling thoughts
A voice in my head
Saying things or so it said
Wired to my body
Telling it how to move
Telling me when to dance
Usually, as long as I have pants
Another moment passed through the mother board
Heart of the machine of course
Through the brain and the course
Racing electricity
To make what comprises humanity
