And I'm already bored
I appreciate this movie and its lore
But it is over play and out of time
A movie out of sync
And yet as something to say
But it is a glorified replay
A movie that doesn't have to think
I understand, I truly do
But it is overplayed, outdone, and too soon
Remakes feel like a full moon
It happens every month, its nothing new
That all being said
It has promise and beauty
Great acting, very moody
Actors that are well led
It is a tale as old as time
Isn't that just swell
Over time though, we know what to expect from Belle
I get it, the song has rhyme
Disney hasn't quite found that place
Where the beauty of their storytelling
Meets the beast of the movies their selling
It could have been worse, if that's the case
All in all, I was no enthralled
But 3 out of five for keeping my attention at all.
